Every year from November to April Kerala receives more travellers.
All foreign travellers need to get valid visa before travelling to India. There is online visa processing facility for short trip.
There are 4 International airports in Kerala, namely Cochin International Airport, Trivandrum airport, Kozhikode airport and Kannur Airport. Global travellers normally prefer to land in Cochin International airport since majority of the flights connect to cochin and it is located in the central part of Kerala.
Indian Rupee (INR) is the currency in Kerala
There is no restriction for the foreign currency that can be carried by the foreign Nationals
Kerala, across the state, has a good number of restaurants that serve all cuisines inclusive of continental, Chinese, Indian and traditional Kerala food.
Guests are welcome to wear any decent outfits. Cotton dresses, hats and sunglasses will be ideal as the climate is normally hot. Guests are advised to carry sunscreen lotion and umbrellas to prevent hitting sunlight direct

All banks are working from 10:00 am to 14:00 pm on all days except 4th Saturday in every month and Sundays
Carrying narcotics is an offence and offenders will be given heavy punishments including fine and imprisonment.
All major hotels, restaurants and shopping centres will accept credit cards
As a custom, most visitors enter houses in Kerala leaving their footwear outside.
Some temples do not permit entry to non-Hindus
In all the temple, footwear is banned. Each temple has different set of codes of conduct. In some temples, wearing Shirts and pants are banned. Men have to be in mundus and women, in saris, half-saris or long skirts
demonstrating affection in public like hugging or kissing is not an accepted practice in Kerala
Nudity is not allowed in anywhere in Kerala, even in beaches.
Bargaining is a common practice when you go shopping with street vendours. In standard shops it is not considered good.
